Appraisal Service Types and Purposes

At GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, we offer you a variety of appraisals to choose from to rightly fit your need and purpose for the appraisal.

At GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, all your gemological reports and appraisals are performed according to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the American Society of Appraisers, and Adhering to the GIA Grading Standards.


Diamond Consultation Service:



GGA’s Diamond Consultation Service is a preliminary purpose report card used to generally inform and navigate the consumer towards the correct gemological report needed.

Two (2) Types of Diamond Consultation Services: Each containing the basic information and gemological analysis of the diamond.

Diamond Parcel Consultation Card
Packaged and designed in a folded parcel diamond format with a Vinyl Pouch, Containing: Shape, Carat Weight, Measurements, Clarity, Color, and GGA Parcel Number.

Diamond Consultation Card
Packaged in a Card format with Vinyl Pouch.
Containing: GGA Report Number, Shape/Cut, Measurements, Carat Weight, Clarity, Color, Polish, Symmetry, Florescence, and any additional gemological grading comments.



Mini Gem Appraisal Cards:

GGA’s Mini Gemological Appraisal Cards are used for a more specified knowledge and getting a basic understanding of the item being presented in a short and precise manner. It contains only the basic information of an item which includes its measurements, classifications, short description, digital photograph, Vinyl Pouch, and a signed by a GIA Graduate Graduate Gemologist.

Information Contained in Each Mini Gemological Appraisal Card:

Diamond Mini Gemological Appraisal Card:
Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weight, Clarity, Color, Cut, Polish, Symmetry, Florescence, and Estimated Retail Replacement Value.

Gemstone Mini Gemological Appraisal Card:
Stone Identification and Classifying the Variety and Species, Picture of the Gemstone with a detailed description, Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weight, Evaluating the Hue, Tone, and Saturation giving the true color of the gem, Cut, and Estimated Retail Replacement Value.

Jewelry Mini Gemological Appraisal Card:
Picture of the Item with a detailed description, Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weights, Clarity, Color, Cuts and Estimated Retail Replacement Value.



Comprehensive Gemological Report Services:

GGA’s Full Comprehensive Gemological Reports are a full scale gemological report with detailed specifications and are used for full understanding of the item being presented in a elaborated manner. It contains only the basic information of an item which includes its measurements, classifications, short description, digital photograph, Vinyl Pouch, and signed by a GIA Graduate Graduate Gemologist.

• Diamond Reports & Appraisals:
Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weight, Clarity, Color, Table Percentage, Depth Percentage, Pavilion Depth and Angles Percentages, Crown Height and Angle Percentages, Girdle Thickness, Culet Visibility, Cut, Polish, Symmetry, Florescence, Estimated Retail Replacement Value, and signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.

• Gemstone/Color-Stone Gemological Reports:
Stone Identification and Classifying the Variety and Species, Picture of the Gemstone with a detailed description, Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weight, Depth Percentage, Bulge Visibility, Clarity/Type, Evaluating the Hue, Tone, and Saturation giving the true color of the gem, Symmetry, Color Intensity and Tone, Transparency, Cut, Estimated Retail Replacement Value, and signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.

• Jewelry Appraisal Reports and Services:
Picture of the Item with a detailed description, Date, Assigned Report Number, Shape, Measurements, Carat Weights, Clarity, Color, Cuts, and all other necessary information needed for the type of jewelry item presented, Estimated Retail Replacement Value, and signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.

• Pearl Evaluation Appraisal Reports:
Nature and Origin of the Pearl, Size, Shape, Color, Blemish Analysis, Nacre Thickness, Luster, Orient, Matching Appearance, Estimated Retail Replacement Value, and signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.

• Watch/Timepiece Appraisal Reports:
Type and Brand of the Watch, Size and Gender, Shape, Crystal Type, Dial and Bezel, Mechanism and Movement Analysis, Display Attributes, Numbering Systems, Estimated Retail Replacement Value, and signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
